Huawei, in case you forgot is a Windows Phone partner. And the Chinese handset maker launched Ascend W2 first non Nokia WP8 device in a while. The Huawei Ascend W2 is the successor of the Ascend W1. The phone is targeted towards the budget-savvy consumers.
It has a 4.3" IPS LCD screen with WVGA (480x800 pixel, 217 ppi) resolution. It comes with super sensitive touch technology, this tech allows users to use the screen even when you're wearing gloves. The screen is 4.3" diagonal but the phone is rather large, measuring 134x67x9.9 mm, its almost the size of a 5" phone. Again the device weighs 160g which is heavier in today's standard.

Like most WP devices Ascend W2 comes with several color options from standard black to blue, red and yellow. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon MSM8230 chipset with a dual core Krait CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, GPU is Adreno 305 and 512 MB RAM. It has 8 GB of built in storage and sadly no memory expansion slot.
There's a 5 MP camera on the back that is capable of recording 720p HD videos. On the connectivity side there's 3G, Wi - fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB 2.0.
The battery is modest 1700 mAh in capacity.
Let's see how this challenges the most sold WP device Nokia Lumia 520.... Till then cheers..........
