 A couple of days ago Google officially announced the 4.4 Kitkat a couple of days and today Sony has revealed its Android upgrade roadmap.

In an official blog post, the Japanese manufacturer has also announced its plans with the 4.3 Jelly Bean roll out.

  As promised, Sony will be bringing the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to its Xperia devices, which are Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia SP, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Tablet Z. The Software rollout will start from next month and as usual the upgrades will be seeded region by region.

The Android 4.3 JB update list just doesn't end with the top smartphones, Sony has also confirmed that Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V will be updated to 4.3 JB.

Sony just doesn't stop here and also became the first smartphone manufacturer to break the news about its Android 4.4 Kitkat update cycle. For Now the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia tablet Z will be getting the latest version of Google OS update.

As Google already announced that the 4.4 Kitkat is designed to scale and run smoothly on devices with only 512 MB of RAM on-board. So, we hope numerous famous Xperia devices eventually get updated, but till now no further model names have been confirmed.
