After waiting for a long time WP8 users finally get the Xbox video app. Microsoft took a long time(from early days of WP8) to release the Xbox video app for WP8. The Xbox video has been available on WP7 devices since the beginning of Windows Phone platform, but inspite of being an important feature, the WP8 users have to wait a while.
It has taken a year for Microsoft to finally come up with a proper app enabling WP8 users to access entire Xbox video contents.
STILL, the Xbox video app for WP8 has a huge limitation- “It can't access HD content." The mobile app can only let you view and download SD videos. You can still purchase or rent HD contents, then you'll have to watch it later on your PC or Xbox(One, 360).
Meanwhile, MS has separated the Xbox music service from the Music+Videos hub, so that you don't have to wait for next firmware update.
Microsoft is surely working hard to improve the Windows Phone platform steadily, but on the other hand Android and iOS is way ahead of WP8. So, MS need to speed things up to give the fight back.
