Intex Aqua Octa is company’s latest tablet that
carries the much hyped MediaTek’s Octa core chipset. And unlike Samsung’s
Exynos chipset, all the cores will run simultaneously and reported to be delivering
buttery smooth performance. This Smartphone is available in 40,000 plus retail
outlets and more than 42 Intex Square (exclusive Intex retail stores), and on
some popular online stores.
The Intex Aqua Octa is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) Smartphone
that runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It features a 6-inch HD
(1280x720p) IPS display based on OGS (One Glass Solution) technology. The
device is powered by MTK6592 Octa core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz along with
700 MHz Mali450 MP4 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.
The Phablet has 16 GB of Internal Memory that can be
further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The Intex Aqua Octa is equipped
with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera to capture
photos and videos. The Smartphone measures 161x80.8x7 mm and weighs 180 grams, and
the black variant of this device is a real looker for sure (available in black
and white colors).
On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Octa
features 3G, Wi-Fi, MicroUSB and Bluetooth, GPS, the Smartphone is going to make
you rock and roll with Dual Yamaha 1420 speakers that will give crystal clear
and loud music playback. The Smartphone packs a 2300 mAh Li-Polymer battery but
standby and talk time is still unknown.

Intex showcased its first Octa core prototype at an
event in November last year and announced that the Smartphone (Intex Aqua Octa)
will be launched in January 2014 around Rs. 20000 in India and they kept their
promise by launching the Smartphone at a price of Rs. 19999.
