LG launched their latest innovation in India the
curved Android Smartphone LG G Flex. Yes, you heard it right an
Android Smartphone that can sports a curved OLED display, LG G
Flex is the first of this kind and obviously it created a huge buzz in
tech world, it was unveiled by LG back in October 2013 and G Flex was showcased in December
in India with a February release date, and LG keeping their promise launched G
Flex in India. The price of this Smartphone is 69,999 INR so it’s not
that cheap and is going to make a hole in your pocket.
LG G Flex also sports a self healing
back panel coating that can heal scratches automatically. Also if you think LG G
Flex is just for show off the curved feature you are wrong, this device
from LG offers 6-inch HD (1280x720p) OLED display with 245ppi density with
Multi-touch input. And it is powered by Quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with
clock speed of 2.26 GHz along with Adreno330 as GPU with 450 MHz clock speed.
Other features include 13 MP rear facing camera with
LED flash that is capable of shooting Full HD 1080p videos with 60FPS and a
front facing 2.1 MP shooter that too can shoot 1080p videos. 2 GB RAM is
onboard with 32 GB Internal memory though no SD card can be attached and a
non-removable curved 3500mAh battery is provided in this cool Smartphone. LG G
Flex is lighter compared to its very large screen which weighs only
177gms and the thickness measures 7.9 mm only.
LG G Flex comes with range of
connectivity features like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, micro USBv3 with USB OTG
support DLNA and even IR port, the internet will be as fast as it can be with
blazing fast LTE on-board too. LG provided sensors like Accelerometer, gyro,
proximity, compass in G Flex, but Surprisingly LG G
Flex will ship with Android Jelly bean 4.2.2 an older version of
Android. But we can hope LG G Flex will be updated to Kitkat
eventually soon.
