Asus launched their latest Dual SIM tablet the Asus
Fonepad 7 in India 2 days ago. The tablet was announced earlier in the Mobile
World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, and the Fonepad 7 dual is now available for
purchase in India.
The Fonepad 7 dual features 7-inch HD (1280x800p)
IPS display with 217 ppi and supports up to 10 finger multi touch. The tablet is
powered by dual core Intel Atom Z2520 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and 300 MHz
PowerVR SGX544 GPU.
The dimensions of the tablet are 199.5x120.8x11.35
mm and weighs 340 grams. The Fonepad 7 dual as the name suggests, supports dual
SIM (micro SIM) and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box with Asus’s
custom UI on top of it.
The tablet features 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal
storage that is expandable up to 64 GB via SD card. Fonepad 7 dual features 5
MP Auto Focus camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and 1.2 MP HD front
facing camera that will take care of self shots and video calls.
Connectivity aside Asus has provided all the necessary
things including 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct dual band, Bluetooth
v4.0, GPS with A-GPS and 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Fonepad 7 dual is backed by a 3950 mAh Li-Po
battery that the company claims, will deliver up to 28 hours of 3G talk time
and up to 35 days of stand-by time.

The Fonepad 7 Dual is available in Grey and White
color option and it is priced competitively at Rs. 12,999. At this price point
