If you are thinking of buying a large screened Android tablet, then here is a good news for you. Samsung has listed it’s not so latest Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (P5200) tablet on the Samsung India eStore. Though it is currently out of stock, but soon it will be available again.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 sports a 10.1-inch display with 1280x800p screen resolution resulting in a poor 149 ppi pixel density. The tablet comes with way older Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Samsung’s own custom UI.

The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is powered by dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU, the tablet features 1 GB of RAM along with 16 GB internal storage that can be further expanded by microSD card up to 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is equipped with a SIM card slot and supports 3G connectivity, and other connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth v4.0, IR port, GPS with A-GPS, USB Host, microUSB v2.0, 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

The Tab 3 10.1 also has rear camera of 3.15 MP that can shoot HD 720p videos, (though I wonder how often you will use this large tablet to take a picture) and a 1.3 MP front facing camera to attend video calls and self portraits.

The tablet packs a large non removable 6800 mAh Li-Po battery unit, and it features Dolby Surround sound enhancement, though it was released way back in June 2013, and with unveiling of Tab 4 series of Galaxy Tabs with Android Kitkat onboard, it is quite surprising to see the tablet’s launch in India.

Anyway, let’s take a quick look at the key specs of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1:

·         10.1-inch display with 1280x800p screen resolution (~149 ppi)
