Love the HTC One M8’s design but don’t
have the money to buy it? Don’t worry HTC has officially launched the HTC One
E8. It is a strip down version of HTC One M8’s metal body, the One E8 is built
with polycarbonate body and also the duo camera of One M8 is replaced by a 13
MP camera.
The HTC One E8 features a 5-inch Full HD
(1080x1920 p) display with 441 pixels per inch and is protected by Corning
Gorilla Glass and runs on Android 4.4.2 out of the box with SENSE 6.0 UI on
top.
The Smartphone is powered by quad core
Snapdragon 801 processor clocked @ 2.3 GHz along with Adreno 330 GPU unit, It
comes with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage (10.6 GB user
accessible) which can be further expandable up to 128 GB with microSD card.
The Camera is more conventional 13 MP AF
unit with f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor and LED flash capable of shooting Full HD
videos and there is 5 MP full HD front camera as well. The Smartphone is
slightly thicker than HTC One M8 but the weight is 15 grams less due to the
polycarbonate body.
The HTC One E8 comes in Electric
Crimson, Polar White, Misty Gray and Maldives Blue color variants and would go
on sale in selected markets from this week. HTC priced the One E8 at 2,799
Chinese Yuan (~ Rs. 26,500) which is much cheaper than the original HTC One M8.
The HTC One E8 will come in optional
dual SIM variants and sport dual front facing stereo speakers with built in
amplifiers and HTC BoomSound Technology.
