Kobian has launched a new Phablet in India, the
Mercury Gitz. The Phablet comes with 6-inch qHD (540x960 p) display and runs on
older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but it is upgradable to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat over
the air.
The Kobian Phablet is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core
MediaTek MT8312 processor and comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal memory
which is expandable up to 32 GB with microSD card.
The giant Phablet is equipped with 5 MP rear camera
with LED flash and has a 0.3 MP VGA front facing camera. It supports dual SIM
connectivity and packs a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery unit. The Phablet would be
available in black colour and will cost Rs. 7799.
Commenting on the new launch, Sushmita Das, Vice
President – Business, India at Kobian Pte Ltd said,
