Remember the Samsung Galaxy
Tab Lite? It is supposed to be a cheaper version of 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3
well it was a rumor but right now the existence of this Galaxy Tab Lite is
pretty much confirmed, as the polish website of Samsung leaked the user manual
of this tablet. The model is SM-T110 which is the Wi-Fi version of this Galaxy
Tab Lite.
The specs that have been revealed include - 7-inch
display with 1024x600 pixels resolution. Powered by Dual core 1.2 GHz Marvell PXA986
processor and Vivante GC1000 GPU. The Tablet
features 2MP rear facing camera and runs Android 4.2 jelly bean. 1 GB RAM is also onboard to prevent the
Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite from slowing down and 8GB inbuilt storage along with
micro SD support is also there, a 3600mAh battery is provided to supply the
Tablet Juice.
The user manual suggests it won’t be any major
design changes in the Galaxy Tab Lite and it is actually heavier (310g) than
the original Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 which weighs 306g. It is interesting to see
if Samsung provide the new Touchwhiz launcher in Galaxy Tab Lite along with
multi-window, smart pause and other features. If they eventually launch the new
launcher in this tablet and keep the price competitively, it will be a huge hit
in emerging markets as well as among budget buyers.
Samsung is ready to announce this tablet
commercially and unveil other specs too. So wait just a little for the Galaxy Tab Lite and if any new
details are released I’ll surely going to provide you. Phorearena.com says a polish
retailer even started to take pre orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite. Asking
$165 for the Wi-Fi model, and $263 for the 3G one (SM-T111). Thanks for reading
and have a good day and always keep a clean Tech Aspect.
