Yes I know you love Moto G, we all love Moto G, not
only it is the best Smartphone to be found at cheap price, but it is also one
of the compact Smartphones available (in the world where 5-inch displayed
phones are quickly becoming the new standard for Smartphones).
The Moto G is the most sold Motorola Smartphone, but
Moto is looking to up the ante and going to launch a successor of Moto G, which
going to be cheaper as well as more compact than ever.
As reported in the Xataka Mexico, Moto E, the successor of Moto G will sport similar specs seen on
Moto G but with a far more compact body and screen size. The screen is 4.3-inch
HD 720p res, and it will support dual SIM along with 3G.
The Moto E will be powered by 1.2 GHz dual core
processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage, but this time it
will come with expandable storage option that was missing in both Moto G and
Moto X.
The Moto E will feature 5 MP rear camera, but it is
not likely to see any front camera unit and a 1900 mAh battery is also onboard
to provide the juice to run the Moto E.
So, gone are the two processing cores along with extra
200 mAh battery, but you get the SD card support, and the compact body which
measures at 124.8x64.8x6.2 mm. Yes no typo actually, really 6.2 mm slim
waistline.
While the Moto G is 11.6 mm thick and Moto X 10.4 mm
thick, Moto E is definitely going to look a stunner, and oh did I mention it
will run on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box with almost tasty vanilla
Android flavour.
The source claims the Moto E is coming in a few
weeks in the Mexican Wireless Carrier Telcel and the model number will be
XT1021, and the price will be lower than that of Moto G, costing 2999 pesos (~$230)
off contract.
Even few days ago Motorola launched Moto G Forte in
Mexico, which is Moto G in a tough grip shell. So, guys keep your finger
crossed and wait for it to launch globally soon, and come to Indian shore.
Whenever I come to know any new news regarding Moto
E, I will upload it. So, keep coming and drop a few nice comments have a great
day.
