Lenovo has launched Lenovo S860, company's latest mid range smartphone in the Lenovo S series in India. The Lenovo S860 was announced on this year's MWC at Barcelona. Lenovo S860 packs a 5.3-inch 720p HD IPS display which results in 277 ppi density.
The Smartphone is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor and Mali 400MP2 GPU. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Lenovo's own custom UI on top of it. No word on update has been disclosed.
The Lenovo S860 comes with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of Internal Storage which is good but the bad news is it won't support microSD card support, so you have to live with the fixed 16 GB of internal storage.
S860 is equipped with 8 MP Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash and features HDR, touch focus and face detection, and it is accompanied by 1.5 MP fixed focus front camera unit which should be enough for video calls and selfies.
The Smartphone features dual SIM support with dual stand-by, but the highlight of the Lenovo S860 is it's large 4000 mAh Li-Po battery. Sounds good isn't it? Well it is quoted to deliver talk time up to 43 hours in 2G and 24 hours in 3G.
And with the battery that large, it can also charge other devices on the go using the provided microUSB cable. This might come in handy on outdoors.
