Micromax Canvas 2 colors, 5-inch HD display and changeable rear shells listed online

Micromax Canvas 2 Colors, company's latest smartphone has been listed on the company's site. The local Indian Android smartphone maker has not disclosed neither the price nor the launch date of the smartphone.


As the name suggests, it is full of colors in it's changeable back colors. Actually the Micromax Canvas 2 Colors will ship with two variants, Dark Grey and White. The Dark Grey variant will come along with two colorful back panels, Radiant Red and Mystic Blue.

While the White color variant will be accompanied by Vibrant Yellow and Splendid Green back panels. Few days ago we came across Lava launched a similar smartphone with identical name, called Lava Iris 450 COLOR.

And it also carries same changeable back panels. The Lava Iris 450 COLOR has been priced recently for Rs. 7,999. So, rest assured both the Lava Iris 450 COLOR and Micromax Canvas 2 colors, will rival each other. That's not bad, the more the merrier.

Anyway, The Micromax Canvas 2 colors features a 5-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the Box. As usual it supports dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual stand-by and is powered by quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz.

The smartphone comes with 1 GB of RAM along with 4 GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The Canvas 2 colors packs an 8 MP AF rear camera unit with LED flash and 2 MP front camera unit.

Connectivity wise, the Micromax Canvas 2 colors covers basic things including, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, microUSB, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack. Micromax has provided a 2000 mAh battery in it, which the company claims will deliver 225 hours of stand-by and 7 hours 45 minutes of talk time, Not Bad at all.

It will come pre loaded with lots of app such as Kingsoft office, Opera Mini, M! Live, M! Games, Reverie Phonebook, Smartpad, Burn the Rope, Fukery, Frog Brust, last 3 apps are games. Just thinking how much free internal storage will remain in this smartphone??? Any guess???
