LG G3 has been leaked to its full glory
before its official release and almost everyone in the internet know it is the
first mainstream Smartphone to feature QHD (2560x1440p) display. The beautiful
Smartphone from LG packs many tricks you may not know. Here are some cool new things
to know about the mighty LG G3
Quad HD display: off course this has got
to be the first on the list, the 5.5-inch QHD IPS LCD display results in a
whooping 538 pixels per inch density. A
quad HD screen packs 78% more pixels than that of a Full HD screen and 4 times
as much as in a HD display. Impressive isn’t it?
Laser
AF module: There is a Laser AF module in the
back of LG G3 that emits low-intensity IR light pulses and elliptical IR sensor
on the left side of the camera waits capture the bounce backed refracted rays
in a fraction of a second, i.e. LG touts 0.276 seconds Auto Focus time,
which is the most impressive timing right now.
Polycarbonate
build: LG G3 is a stunning looking device
first of all, and there isn’t a single key in the front of the Smartphone but
in the back side beside the camera like their very own LG G2. But this time LG
has built G3 with Polycarbonate matte finish rather than glossy plastic like
G2. LG calls it a ‘metallic’ layer on the back, but the core is still
polycarbonate. Also this build means light weight of G3 (149 grams).
Battery:
The battery in LG G3 is a 3000 mAh Li-ion one, which seems to be low
considering the QHD display, but it provides (according to LG) 6 hours of talk
time and 12.9 days of stand-by time. Which is good, but the better thing is the
battery is user replaceable, and it can be wirelessly charged too.
QuickCircle
Case: LG G3 comes with range of cool
accessories, but the stand-out is the QuickCircle case, the case features a
small round window where you can operate some tasks without opening the case,
and save your precise time.
Size-to-Body
ratio: The screen occupies the 76% of the
front of the G3, resulting in a smaller body compared to Phablets, i.e.
dimensions of Galaxy S5: 142 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm, Sony Xperia Z2: 146.98x73.3x8.2
mm, HTC One M8: 146.4x70.6x9.4 mm although all of them features 5.1-inch,
5.2-inch and 5-inch screen respectively, whereas LG G3 features 5.5-inch
display while maintaining a dimension of 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm. Can you feel
the elegance?
