Acer Iconia W4 3G, 8-inch Windows 8.1 Tablet with Quad core Intel processor launched in India for Rs. 29,999

Acer, popular PC and Tablet manufacturer has launched Acer Iconia W4 3G, company's latest tablet with Windows 8.1 OS. As the name suggests the tablet supports 3G via SIM slot, and that's a good thing to have.


Specs wise, the Acer Iconia W4 sports a 8-inch IPS 'Zero Air Gap touch' display with 1280x800 pixels resolution, resulting in a lowly 189 pixels per inch density with support of Multi Touch. The Iconia W4 3G offers wide 178 degree viewing angle.

The Tablet is powered by a Quad core 4th generation Intel Atom Z3740 Bay Trail T processor clocked at up to 1.8 GHz coupled with Intel HD Graphics So, tablet will be delivering good solid performance.

The Acer Iconia W4 3G comes with 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and the internal memory is 64 GB, which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It also comes pre loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013.

The Acer tablet is equipped with a 5 MP Auto Focus rear camera unit (no LED flash though) which is capable of shooting Full HD 1080p videos @ 30 frames per second, and a 2 MP front camera unit is also there to assist you in video calls and shelfies.

Connectivity Wise, It features 3G (via SIM card slot), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, micro HDMI, microUSB v2.0 (can be used as Mass Storage device), GPS with A-GPS, TV out, computer SYNC. Pretty much all important connectivity sides are covered.
