Just few hours ago I posted Nokia XL is
now officially launched in India for a price tag of Rs. 11489, now the Nokia X+
is also available in India. Nokia at the launch of Nokia X promised to launch
the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL within the 60 days, and the company (now Microsoft
Mobiles) has kept their promise.
The Nokia X series of Android 4.1 (AOSP)
based Nokia X platform OS Smartphones were unveiled back in MWC on February
this year and the first of the lot Nokia X was launched in India in March.
The Nokia X+ features the same 4-inch
IPS display as on Nokia X with same WVGA (480x800 p) display. And to be fair
almost every specs are same on Nokia X and Nokia X+ except Nokia X+ comes with
768 MB of RAM.
The RAM is 256 MB higher than that of
Nokia X, it comes with 4 gigs of internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB with
microSD card. Other features include 3 MP fixed focus camera, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11
b/g/n, FM Radio and 1500 mAh battery.
All the Smartphones are powered by dual
core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play processor clocked @1 GHz with Adreno 203 GPU
and features dual SIM functionality.
The Nokia X+ is priced at Rs. 8399 and
it would go on to sale later this month. Now both Nokia X+ and Nokia XL come
with bundled data pack offer of 500 MB (2G/3G) for Airtel customers for 3
months.
The Nokia X was launched in India for a
price tag of Rs. 8599 in India which is currently available for Rs. 6714 from Flipkart.com.
