Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo which has started
their business in India has launched their first ever lower end Smartphone the
Oppo Joy. The Smartphone was announced last month and it features a 4-inch WVGA
(800x480 p) IPS sensitive display with 233 ppi density.
The sensitive display supports touch input even with
gloves on, so in winter you can use it without taking your gloves off. Anyway,
the Oppo Joy is powered by dual core MediaTek MT8312 processor clocked @1.3 GHz
along with Mali 400 GPU.
This is a dual SIM (Normal SIM + Micro SIM) Smartphone
with Dual Stand-by and the Smartphone runs on a customized Android 4.2 Jelly
Bean out of the box with which is known as color OS.
Oppo Joy comes equipped with a 3.15 MP rear camera
with LED flash and a front facing 0.3 MP VGA camera. The Internal memory in
Oppo Joy is low with 4 GB which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with microSD
card.

Oppo presented Hotknot feature, which lets you share
files securely and Oppo Joy is company’s first phone in India to feature this,
Oppo also provided 5 GB of free cloud storage with Oppo Joy.

priced at Rs. 8,990. Currently Oppo operates business in India’s 12 major
cities- New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh,
Ludhiana, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow.
Oppo is aiming to gain access to all cities to
expand their business in India, and would open 200 service centres across India
within the next one year. So, few days ago HTC launched HTC Desire 210 with
similar pricing and there is host of Indian Smartphones in this price range, so
