Xolo launched a new budget Smartphone in India
yesterday, the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2, successor of last year’s Xolo Q1000 Opus. The
Smartphone comes with 5-inch qHD (540x960 p) IPS display with 218 ppi density.
Unlike it’s predecessor, the new Xolo Opus Q1000 2
runs on Snapdragon 200 in place of Broadcom BCM23550, processor with 4 Cortex
A5 cores clocked @1.2 GHz along with Adreno 302 GPU.
The budget Xolo Smartphone comes with 1 GB of RAM
coupled with 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB with
microSD card, and comes with dual SIM support with dual stand-by.
The Q1000 Opus 2 is equipped with 8 MP rear camera
with Auto Focus and LED flash capable of shooting Full HD videos @ 30 fps and a
2 MP front camera unit for video calls and shelf-shots. The Smartphone runs on
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Connectivity options on Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 are 3G
HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5 mm
Audio Jack and packs a 2000 mAh Li-Po battery unit.
Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 will be available in black and
white color options and is priced at Rs. 9780 from online retailer Snapdeal.
