Panasonic has launched a new mid range Smartphone in
India, the Panasonic Eluga U and it is available on eBay already, but don’t
worry it will officially be launching today all over India. The Panasonic Eluga
U runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.
It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 p) IPS display
based on OGS tech resulting in eye catching 295 pixels per inch density and the
display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Panasonic Eluga U is powered by quad core Snapdragon
400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM
and 16 GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB with microSD card.
The latest Panasonic Smartphone is equipped with 13
MP AF rear camera with LED flash capable of shooting Full HD 1080p videos @30
fps and there is a 2 MP front facing camera unit too. The Smartphone is 7.95 mm
slim and weighs only 141 grams.
Connectivity wise Panasonic Eluga U sports 3G HSPA+,
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi Hotspot,
3.5 mm Audio Jack, microUSB v2.0 and it packs a 2500 mAh Li-ion battery.
The Panasonic Eluga U would be available in Black
and White colour variants and it is priced at Rs. 17,490 online, and a tweet
from Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom, The Smartphone is priced at Rs. 18,590 (offline).
