Spice Fire One Mi-FX1, First Firefox OS running Smartphone launched in India for Rs. 2,299

Last month I posted about Intex, and Spice will be launching new low-end Smartphones with Firefox OS. Now Spice retail has already launched the first Firefox OS running Smartphone, the Spice Fire One Mi-FX1.

The Spice Fire One Mi-FX1 packs a 3.5-inch display with 320x480 p HVGA resolution which results in only 165 ppi pixel density, and it is powered by 1 GHz processor, but right now the amount of RAM is unknown.

There is a 2 MP rear camera along with a 1.3 MP front camera present in the Fire One Mi-FX1 and it will support dual SIM connectivity too, The Smartphone will have SD card slot, but the internal memory and battery capacity is undisclosed till.

The Firefox OS is based on HTML5 and it is backed by Mozilla. The OS will come with Facebook, Twitter apps pre-loaded, and don’t worry you can download more apps from the Firefox Marketplace. The OS supports Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Bangla.

The Spice Fire One Mi-FX1 comes at a price tag of only Rs. 2,299 and it would be available exclusively on snapdeal.com for a limited time starting from August 29^th, afterwards, it will be sold from all major retail stores, Spice HotSpot stores.
