Popular Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched
the 4G-LTE variant of their Redmi Note officially. The 3G HSPA+ version of
Redmi Note launched in India recently. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has 5.5-inch HD
IPS (720x1280 p) display with 267 ppi pixel density.
It runs on quad core Snapdragon 400 processor
clocked @ 1.6 GHz unlike the HSPA+ variant which runs on 1.7 GHz octa core
MediaTek MT6592 processor. The RAM is 2 GB with 8 GB internal memory expandable
up to 64 GB with SD card.
The Redmi Note 4G runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with
Xiaomi’s popular MIUI v5 Skin on top and it packs a 3100 mAh Li-ion battery and
it is priced at CNY 999 (~Rs. 9,900) in China. The 3G variant of Xiaomi Redmi
Note is priced at Rs. 9999 in India.
