Xolo’s latest Smartphone offering, Xolo A550S IPS
has just been gone to sell on Flipkart. The Xolo A550S IPS has a 4-inch WVGA
(480x800 p) IPS display and it is powered by dual core MediaTek MT6572M
processor clocked @ 1 GHz with Mali 400 MP GPU.
The Smartphone obviously supports dual SIM
connectivity along with dual Stand-by option, but runs on Android 4.2 Jelly
Bean out of the box, but an OTA update later will make sure it go on to have
the latest OS i.e. Android Kitkat.
Other specs includes 5 MP AF rear camera with LED
flash which is capable of shooting HD videos @30 fps and a 0.3 MP VGA front
camera will enable 3G video calling and precious shelfie shootings, though don’t
expect any miracle quality with this.
The budget offering from Xolo comes with only 512 MB
RAM coupled with 4 GB of internal memory expandable up to 32 GB with microSD
card. It has 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS with
A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5 mm Audio Jack connectivity option.
The Smartphone packs a 1400 mAh Li-ion battery, it
has leather like back cover and comes in Black and White colour variants; the
Smartphone is priced at Rs. 5599 from Flipkart.
