The main eye-catching part of this phone is its display. One Plus 6 is almost bezel-less full vision display like iPhone X and it contains a notch(inspired by iPhone X) which pulls One Plus 6 in the trends. One Plus always does something different so it also seems that there will be something extra except earpiece and front camera module.
There is 100% confirmation that One Plus 6 will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. This flagship phone will come with two variants of 128 GB with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB with 8 GB RAM.
The co-founder of One Plus Carl Pei stated that One Plus 6 will come with the dimensions of 19.616mm x 7.687mm. Leaks are also remarking that One Plus 6 will come with the company’s proprietary Alert Slider. So it seems that it will change the interface of the left edge of One Plus 6.
One Plus CEO Pete Lau posted few photos using One Plus 6 on Chinese social networking site on 16th April and stated that the handset has a 16-megapixel camera but there is no information about the other sensor that makes up the dual camera.
It is official that One Plus 6 will support Slow-MO video recording which was posted on the Indian One Plus website on 25th April.
One major update that One Plus 6 will be getting is the, water and dust resistance with IP67 or IP68 configuration. As a result of this, there might not be a 3.5 mm audio jack present in the One Plus 6.
One Plus 6 is rumoured to run on Android Oreo 8.1 based on Oxygen OS and of course there will be faster OS updates provided to buyer as always seen from One Plus. One Plus 6 packs a 3450 mAh battery, which should provide pretty good battery life, which should come with fast charging or rather dash charging seen on One Plus 5T.
Above all, it’s confirmed that One Plus 6 will launch on 16th May 2018 and the release date is rumoured to be May or June. This will be sold exclusively on Amazon but there’s no confirmation of pre-booking date yet, Only a One Plus 6 banner with some specs are posted on Amazon. The price is expected to be 43,999 for 128 GB and 49,999 for 256 GB variant.
