All Nokia Lumia series smartphones running WP 8 or higher have got amazing camera if truth to be told. All of them can shoot 720p HD videos as well as sharp low light images.
But the high end Lumia series devices have got some great camera capabilities and some neat software tricks. The most recent one being “Nokia Camera" which blend the creative features of “Smart Camera" app and the manual controls of “Pro Camera". It was available as a high end Lumia exclusive only a few months ago.
Now the app is available in Beta stage for the mid range as well as lower end Lumia devices.
The following devices mentioned below will get the app:
Lumia 520, Lumia 521, Lumia 620, Lumia 625, Lumia 720, Lumia 810, Lumia 820 and Lumia 822.
It should be notified that the device you want to install this app must be occupied with at least Nokia Amber(better known as Nokia Black update) update.
The Nokia Black update enables DNG support on the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1020, but also the ability to launch the camera from the lock screen bypassing the PIN lock(if there is one), which is a good feature the low end devices can utilize.
The app is in Beta stage and many new features would be added by Nokia even some features are being tested. As a beta version app you might find some minor bugs but it is certain that Nokia will continuously deliver update to make sure the app works perfectly.
Ok enough theory now let's get to practical action. First navigate to Settings then go to Extras+Info to make sure you have at least Nokia Amber update installed. Then you'll need to register(free) in Nokia Beta Labs to download the app.
For any query or any sort of problem the Nokia Beta Labs Forum is going to take you out of the trouble.
