Popular chip manufacturer Intel has announced new tablet designs for school students. The “Intel Education Tablet” will feature a 10” touch screen display and the tablet would be powered by Intel’s own dual-core Atom Z2520 processor with clock speed of 1.2GHz.

The Tablet may come in either 1GB or 2GB RAM options but 32GB Internal memory would be offered. Also it is reported to feature both Front and rear camera. Wi-Fi will be included and 3G connectivity may be optional.

The average battery life is reported to deliver up to 12 hours of daily usage. All the features mentioned are quite attracting but wait another interesting feature that it will be offering is the ruggedness. It not only can withstand dropping from a desk but it can provide resistance against dust as well as water.

The tablets will also be shipping with range of educational apps preloaded as well as it will support educational hardware add-ons too, like Snap-On magnification tool and a temperature sensor probe that plugs into the audio jack. Intel said the tablets feature "student friendly, rugged designs" that can withstand dropping from a desk and also provide water and dust resistance.

Hardware partners of Intel can use the reference designs to create their own tablets that Intel showcased previous year (7-inch and 10-inch reference tablet designs based on older processors). So, let’s hope the price of the tablets will be student friendly so that every student can afford it.

As soon as any new updates are available I will surely provide that to you. So, keep visiting my blog and keep a clean tech aspect. Thank you.
