The new WP8.1 update is yet to arrive with lots of
new feature, and one of the most anticipated features of this update is
notification center like Android. Notification center has been one of the
strongest points of Android OS.
So, we all know MS will have to add some cool new
features in the notification center to compete with Android. But what type of
features will be added? If you are also thinking this question then I’ve got
good news for you.
Couple of leaked screenshots from an internal MS
document reveals the name of the notification center will be Action center and
it will contain connectivity toggles along with regular notifications.
It also reveals that apps will be able to add new
notifications to the list, update any notification and even delete any
notification that is not necessary anymore to show the user, also the screen
shot confirms the ability to display battery level percentage beside the
battery icon in the top of the screen.
The update is rumored to come alive in April at the
Microsoft build conference so expect more leaks and rumors regarding
notification center along with new features and also Cortana the alleged voice assistant
for WP to rival with Google now and Siri.
Head over to this link for more info about Action
center.
