A recent report from NDTV gadgets
suggest, Apple is all set to launch their latest iPhone model in India, the
iPhone 5C 8 GB. Initially Apple launched 16 GB and 32 GB variant of the iPhone
5C, but later to decrease the price and increase the sales, Apple decided to
include the 8 GB variant to the portfolio.
The 8 GB Apple iPhone 5C model was made
available in UK, France, Germany, Australia and China. But in recent time,
Apple also launched it additional countries, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium,
Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland, Portugal, Austria, Spain, Denmark,
Finland, Switzerland and Norway.
And now it is speculated that India is
going to get the cheapest current generation iPhone model, with not so cheap
price though. The iPhone 5C model was launched in India baring a price tag of
Rs. 41,900 for the 16 GB model, so expect a pricing of ~Rs. 35,000.
Few months ago, it was reported that 3million iPhone 5C models were unsold and were waiting in the shelves of manufacturers
and retailers. That was due to a higher amount of money for not so value worthy
product, that people weren’t much interested to buy.
But the correct pricing may get many
customers hooked to it as we saw in the case of cheaper iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S
model. Even Apple CEO Tim Cook admitted that iPhone sales in India went up by55%.
The report also suggested, that Apple
will launch the product in the country in the coming weeks and it expected to
see it will be getting launched in many other emerging markets as well, as
Apple is in no mood to slow down the momentum it got from sales in the country.
Let’s see how Apple prices the product
and also how many people get interested to buy this? Are you interested to buy a colorful iPhone 5C with latest version of iOS? Sure to let us know. Have a good day.
