Nokia Lumia 630 and 630 Dual SIM launched in India for Rs. 10,500 and Rs. 11,500 respectively

The latest Nokia mid range Windows Phone 8.1 powered Smartphone duo Lumia 630 and Lumia 630 Dual is launched in India. The Smartphone duo was announced last month along with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Apart from the dual SIM connectivity option in Nokia Lumia 630 Dual, all the specs are same. The Smartphone packs a 4.5-inch WVGA (480x800 pix) IPS LCD Clear Black display with 218 ppi density and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Smartphone is powered by Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked @1.2 GHz along with Adreno 305 GPU, and the Smartphone will run on latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS out of the box.

Surprisingly, the Smartphone features 512 MB RAM along with 8 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. Also Microsoft has offered 7 GB of SkyDrive storage capacity.

The Smartphone is equipped with 5 MP AF rear camera with ¼” sensor size, without LED flash, the camera is capable of shooting 720p videos @30 fps, there is no front facing camera either. The Smartphone comes with lots of camera apps including Nokia Camera.

Lumia 630 Dual is also the first WP Smartphone to feature dual SIM connectivity that is introduced in the latest OS update. Also it sports smart dual SIM that offers call forwarding and call waiting between two SIM cards.

Other connectivity options includes, 3G HSPA+ (HSDPA: 21 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, DLNA, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB v2.0, FM Radio, 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

Both the Lumia 630 variant packs a 1830 mAh Li-ion battery, which according to the company will deliver up to 600 hours of Stand-by time and a music play back time of 58 hours. As usual these will be available in range of colors including Bright Orange, Bright Green, and Bright yellow, White and Black colors.

The Lumia 630 Dual SIM will be first to get launched in India on 16^th May and is priced at Rs. 11,500, while the single SIM variant would go on to sale later this month for Rs. 10,500. Both the Smartphone will be gifting buyers 1 GB of 2G/3G data for Vodafone customers for 2 months, 2 months of BoxTV subscription and Rs. 2000 worth Flipkart eBooks.
