Do you like the HTC One M8, either don’t want to spend too much money on it or like smaller screen Smartphones like me? Ok don’t you worry HTC has launched the mini version of HTC One M8, the HTC One Mini 2.

The HTC One Mini 2 features a smaller 4.5-inch HD Super LCD2 display with 326 ppi density. The Smartphone measures 137.4x65x10.6 mm and weighs 137 grams, compared to 146.4x70.6x9.4 mm, and weight of 160g on original HTC One M8.

The Smartphone is powered by quad core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked @1.2 GHz along with Adreno 305 GPU. The One Mini 2 comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 128 GB with a microSD card.

HTC ditched the duo UltraPixel rear camera tech in favor of a more conventional 13 MP camera with a BSI sensor and an f/2.2 lens, the camera is capable of shooting Full HD videos @30 fps and a 5 MP front camera is also there that is also capable of shooting 1080p videos.

The HTC One Mini 2 features wide range of connectivity options, including 3G HSPA+ (HSDPA: 42 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76 Mbps), 4G LTE (DL: 150 Mbps, UL: 50 Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, DLNA, microUSB v2.0, FM Radio with RDS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

It packs a 2100 mAh non removable Li-Po battery unit, which is rated to deliver up to 556 hours of stand-by times and 16 hours 10 minutes of talk time in 3G. The price isn’t disclosed yet but it would go on to sale starting from June in Europe, Middle and North Asia and Africa.

The Smartphone will run on latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box and sports BoomSound dual stereo front speakers.
