Just two days ago I posted Motorola has held two events
in London and India on May 13th to unveil a Smartphone that is
priced for all. And it was speculated that it might be the Moto E, Moto G’s
successor. And now it seems confirm.
According to a listing on Indian Import/Export
website Zauba.com,
Moto E (XT-1022) has been imported from China to Bangalore two days ago. And as
the phone has been already imported, you can expect to see it on the sales
soon, off course after it gets launched on May 13th.
Given Motorola sold both Moto G and Moto X through
exclusively online retailer Flipkart, we expect the Moto E too will be
exclusively sold on Flipkart. Now according to another leakster on Twitter, @LeaksterInc,
the Moto E would be priced at Rs. 8,999 for the Dual SIM variant.
@LeaksterInc
also suggested that Moto E will be Flipkart exclusive and would carry a qHD
(540x960 p) display and come with Dual SIM variant. After the grand success of
Moto G in India, it was expected to see the Moto G successor launching in India
soon.
Previously the Moto E specs was reported to carry a
4.3-inch HD display along with 1 GB RAM and Dual core processor, 4 GB internal
memory with microSD card support up to 32 GB, 5 MP rear camera, 3G support,
dual SIM connectivity(in selected models) and 1900 mAh battery.
And interestingly Moto E is said to be sporting a 6.2 mm slim waistline, if that is true the Moto G with 11.6 mm thickness will look like bulky compared to this. And as a budget Smartphone it will also come with latest version of Android Kitkat. And the minimal UI changes will mean faster updates too.
So, there is plenty of reasons to get excited about Moto E, even though it isn't carrying any revolutionary specs. So, are you guys willing to buy one? Let me know on the comments.
