Microsoft has officially unveiled the
new Surface Pro 3 and Microsoft hopes it can soon replace your Laptops. The
tablet sports a 12-inch 2K display (2160x1440 p) IPS LCD display with 216 ppi
resolution and features a Kickstand with a stylus.
The latest tablet from Microsoft is
powered by fourth generation Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors
along with Intel HD 4400 Graphics Unit, so pretty much powers are there and
Microsoft showed off its power in the unveiling show.
The Surface Pro 3 was placed on the
docking station to look like a laptop and then some higher end apps were shown
off including a 3D rendering app along with Adobe’s Photoshop. The app
(Photoshop) has been updated to work with both fingers and stylus for the
Surface Pro 3, while the app’s icons are now increased up to 200% to make them
easier to access.
The Surface Pro 3 measures 292x201x9.1
mm and a weight of 798 grams, which is lighter than MacBook Air, which MS
showed in the presentation by scaling it against the MacBook Air.
The Surface Pro 3 comes with 8 GB of
RAM, and internal memory of 512 GB (64 GB SSD + 450 GB user accessible), the
tablet supports external SD card, and features a full sized USB 3.0 port,
supports USB Host.
The Surface Pro 3 rocks a 5 MP rear
camera with Full HD video recording along with a 5 MP front facing camera unit
for Skype calls and shelfies, connectivity wise, it offers Bluetooth v4.0,
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and a mini display port.

from 20th June and the starting price is $799 for the model with 4
GB RAM with Intel Core i3 processor up to $1950 for the 8 GB RAM and Core i7
