Apple officially unveiled the Apple iPhone 6, pre-order starts on 12th September and will launch on 19th September

Apple yesterday unveiled the most anticipated iPhone 6 officially, the latest gen iPhone 6 comes with same looks as predecessors but unlike previous gens, it has 4.7-inch display with 1134x750 pixel resolution.

The latest iPhone 6 is only 7 mm thin and it is impressively light at only 129 grams, the large display also enabled extra row of apps in the UI, the latest flagship Apple Smartphone is powered by Apple A8 SoC, the processor is built on 64-bit architecture and is built on a power efficient 20 nm process. The SoC is a dual core unit clocked @ 1.2 GHz and according to Apple the new chipset is 20 times faster than the original iPhone along with the graphics being up by 50 times faster.

The 8 MP rear camera unit on iPhone 6 has a wider f/2.2 aperture and a larger 1.5 micron pixel sensor, the camera features phase detection Auto Focus but lacks OIS, the camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos and record slo-mo videos @ 120 fps and 240 fps. The camera is accompanied by two LED flash of different color temperature that enables more accurate color tone, iPhone 6 has a 1.2 MP HD front facing camera.

The latest Apple flagship Smartphone comes with iOS 8 pre-installed and packs new connectivity features such as VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and Wi-Fi calling (for T-Mobile in the US and EE in the UK), the iPhoen 6 supports 20 bands of LTE connectivity up to 150 Mbps speed, The Smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and sports NFC connectivity.

The iPhone 6 features TouchID – a sensor embedded in the Home button, it detects user’s finger to active the sensor and supports multiple fingerprint inputs and offers high security for purchased on iTunes.

The iPhone 6 packs a 1810 mAh Li-ion battery which according to Apple is going to offer 14 hours of 3G talk time and 250 hours of stand-by and up to 50 hours of music playback, as usual it won’t feature Storage expansion via SD card and it comes with 1 GB of RAM and storage options are 16 GB/ 64 GB/ 128 GB.

The latest iPhone 6 will be available on Space Grey, Gold and Silver color options in the US the basic 16 GB variant will cost you $199, while the 64 GB and 128 GB variants will cost $299 and $399 respectively.

The iPhone 6 will go on sale on September 19^th in the US and by the end of the year Apple will expand the availability on 115 countries including India, the pre order for Apple iPhone 6 will start tomorrow on September 12^th.
