HTC M8, the successor of HTC One (M7) launched in
India. The M8 was announced in the February and it was reported
to be available in the last week of this month. And yes HTC launched M8
and unexpectedly priced lower than that of rival Samsung Galaxy S5.
The Smartphone also supports local LTE bands of
Airtel and Reliance Jio, unlike the Galaxy S5 which supports HSPA+, any way the
price of the HTC M8 is Rs. 49,900 (MOP) and it will be available all over the India
starting from 7th of May in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber
Gold colors.
The Smartphone comes with 5-inch Full HD
(1080x1920p) Super LCD3 display and is powered by Quad core Snapdragon 801
processor clocked at 2.5 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16
GB/32 GB internal memory, expandable up to 128 GB with SD card.
One of the interesting feature is duo camera (both 4
MP) setup with a primary UltraPixel camera along with dual LED flash, the
camera automatically selects the right tone and intensity based on the scene,
and it has a 5 MP front camera that can shoot 1080p videos with HDR.
The HTC M8 also brings the latest version of Android
with HTC’s own custom Sense 6.0 UI, which HTC claims this is the biggest
upgrade of Sense since its debut. The Smartphone has 2600 mAh Li-Po battery
unit.
