Andy Rubin, the former head of Android is now working on a robotics mission for Google.
Andy Rubin who co-founded Android and sailed Android OS till last year and handed Android over to Sundar Pichai, now turned his attention to Robotics in a new “Moonshot" Project.
Though very few details have been revealed. Neither Rubin nor Google has given further information regarding this. Though it is clear that robotics effort is targeted at manufacturers, the way Google dealt with Android.
To accomplish this, Andy Rubin is working with 7 robotics company (Google has acquired over the past 6 months) even Rubin is also hiring robotists and other Google Programmers to expand the effort.
But it should take a while to deliver the results of the Robotics effort.
Rubin told NewYork Times.
