Lava has launched a new budget Smartphone in India, the Lava 3G 415. The Smartphone is currently on sale on eBay.in/. The Smartphone has a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 p) display with 233 ppi density.

The Smartphone runs on a 1 GHz dual core processor along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory (only 1.79 GH is user memory) that is expandable up to 32 GB with microSD card.

The Smartphone is equipped with 5 MP rear camera with LED flash along with 0.3 MP VGA front camera unit to attend video calls and shelfies. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and features dual SIM connectivity (GSM + GSM) with dual Stand-by.

Connecitivity options include 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, FM Radio, and packs a 1500 mAh Li-ion battery, which the company claims will provide up to 200 hours of Stand-by times and 580 minutes of talk time.

The Smartphone cost only Rs. 5249 and I am totally surprised to see this one coming with way older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, after Lava launched Lava Iris X1 with Android Kitkat out of the box, Lava launched this with Jelly Bean just doesn't make any sense.
